Ø    Both parties must go to a Florida County Courthouse with photo identification and Social Security Numbers to receive a Marriage License.

Ø    Proof of divorce is necessary if previously married.

Ø    Death Certificate is required if previous spouse died.

Ø    Florida Marriage Licenses cost $ 93.50.

Ø    Florida residents have a three-day waiting period for a Marriage License.

Ø    NONRESIDENTS  - NO WAITING PERIOD.

Ø        A Florida Marriage License is required prior to the wedding.

Ø       Marriage ceremony can only be performed on or after the effective date as shown on marriage license, within sixty days. (County courthouse is closed weekends and holidays).
